Taisha Beattie

Taisha Beattie has more than 12 years experience as a veterinary assistant. A Bronx native, Taisha attended Monroe College and received an Associate's Degree in Health Care Management in 2005. Taisha is currently enrolled in Penn Foster College, where she is pursuing her degree as a veterinary technician. She is also a member of the Future Farmers of America. Taisha loves working with animals and is proud of the excellent care offered at Uptown Veterinary Associates.

Taisha's hobbies include playing piano, writing poetry, horseback riding and watching baseball. At home, she enjoys the company of her cat, Syrus.

Ashleigh Davis

Receptionist Ashleigh Davis grew up around animals and has worked in the animal-care field since 2002. Ashleigh joined the Uptown Veterinary Associates staff in 2007 and also works at a local doggie daycare. She loves working with animals and enjoys learning more about veterinary medicine and caring for pets.

Ashleigh currently attends the New York Institute of Technology in Manhattan and expects to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Communications in 2008. She is often in the park with her two dogs, Piper and Hazel, both rescue dogs. Ashleigh also enjoys going to the movies and playing video games.

Adriana Mitchell

Receptionist Adriana Mitchell was born and raised in the Bronx and has worked in the animal care field since 2004. Adriana loves working with the animals and clients that come into the hospital.

Adriana attended Bronx Community College and received an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy in 2001. Her hobbies include reading, watching movies, writing poetry, singing and spending time with her children.

Rosemarie Moore

Veterinary assistant at Uptown Veterinary Associates since 2007, Rosemarie Moore hails from the Bronx and has worked in the animal care field for more than a decade. Rosemarie is glad to be part of the friendly, caring atmosphere at the hospital and is proud of the high-quality care the staff provides.

At home, Rosemarie is kept busy by her family of pets, including Oliver, a Pitbull, two parrots named Kiwi and Chili, chameleons, treefrogs and a hog-nose snake. When not at home, Rosemarie enjoys rollerskating, going to concerts, yoga and taking Oliver for walks in the park.
