Puppy Training Classes

Proper training is crucial to your puppy's development, especially during the first six months of his or her life. During this time, it's important to provide your puppy with positive experiences involving other people, animals and things outside his or her familiar environment. Our puppy training classes are an easy, fun way for you to bond with your new pet while at the same time teaching him or her how to be well-behaved.
Your instructors are Jorge Melara and Bobbie Bhambree, Certified Pet Dog Trainers (CPDT) and members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). As co-owners Divine K-9, Inc., the husband and wife team Jorge and Bobbie a have a combined training experience of over 12 years in their private practice, as well as rehabilitating and training shelter dogs at the ASPCA as Behavior Counselors. At the ASPCA, Jorge and Bobbie worked with dogs surrendered by the public as well as those seized by the ASPCA's Humane Law Enforcement Department, as seen in the Animal Planet reality television show, "Animal Precinct".

Dominance vs. Leadership: Puppy Kindergarten gives you a variety of techniques to help you be a good leader instead of using intimidation techniques to gain a dominant status over your dog. Divine K-9 believes in creating a place of mutual respect, trust, and appreciation between human and canine.
