Our Practice Manager

James Weeks

James has been a force in the background at Uptown Vets since our practice was first conceived in late 2006. As a long-time construction manager in New York City, and as Dr. Obernesser's husband, he was uniquely poised to take charge of the development, design, and construction of our facility.

He returned to Uptown Vets in February 2009 as practice manager. He says he much prefers the company of animals and their owners - and the brilliant staff at Uptown Vets - to that of the construction trades. He is also forever grateful that he got on that wrong bus in Yucatan and thus met Ina Christmas 1989.
